Camping near Bandon, Oregon
For those looking for more primitive camping, the Powers Ranger District is directly east and offers camping along the Coquille River in the Siskiyou National Forest. Access is east on OR 42S, east on OR 42, then south on OR 542 towards Powers, then continue south to NF33. There are at least 8 campgrounds along NF33 and NF3358 between Powers and Agness. Both NF33 and NF3358 are paved but are subject to closures due to storm damage. For more information, contact the Powers Ranger District. The drive from Bandon to the National Forest is about two hours (take a full tank of gas!).

Bullard's Beach State Park
Bullards State Park is located two miles north of Bandon, OR, and features campsites, 13 yurts, and year-round camping. The horse camp has access to the beach and dunes.
Bullards Beach State Park features fishing and crabbing opportunities and boat launch facilities on the Coquille River.
Within the park is the Coquille River Lighthouse which runs tours and displays lighthouse exhibits.
Between March and May and again in the fall, visitors may observe migrating gray whales as they travel up and down the Oregon coast.

Flora Lake is ideal for windsurfing and kiteboarding. Kayaking is also a favorite on the lake. Nearby trails make hiking in the area easy. A short walk from the boat launch is the beach, which is frequently deserted. Located near Flora Lake is Boice-Cope County Campground with 34 campsites, 22 of which are paved.
