Bird Watching

Because the Oregon South Coast is relatively undeveloped, it offers an opportunity where birders on vacation can observe wildlife that rarely encounters people. The Oregon Islands National Wildlife Refuge is located here and is the highest density of offshore islands and rocks, a habitat for over 1 million nesting seabirds.
