RV Parks Near Coos Bay - Charleston
There are several private RV parks near Coos Bay - North Bend. Near Charleston there are two additional parks for RVs. There two located further south on the coast.
There are two public RV / ATV parks just to the north in the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area.
All of the private RV facilities listed below are in Coos Bay unless otherwise noted.

Riley Ranch Campground
Update: Bridge construction over the train tracks to the dunes is complete! Access to the dunes is open. Riley Ranch County Park is located at milepost 227 on US Highway 101 just west of the community of Hauser, Oregon and 6 miles north of North Bend, Oregon. Riley Ranch is adjacent to the Oregon Dunes National Recreational Area. The campground currently consists of 50 campsites (all are reservable) with water and electrical hookups, and two 16’ x 20’ camping cabins. One restroom facility has been constructed and more are planned. Expansion of the 'A' loop and construction of the 'C' loop is expected to be completed in 2012. A second set of restrooms, between these two loops, is expected to be built during the summer of 2012, supplementing the existing one. There are currently 42 campsites roughed in and available for overflow until the utilities are installed. When completed, Riley Ranch will be able to accommodate both ATV (dune buggy, quad) and Equestrian groups. There are no immediate plans to have a RV sanitary dump in this campground. Horsfall OHV Campgrounds
Horsfall OHV Campground and Horsfall Beach OHV Campground are designed for off-highway (ATV, dune buggy, quad, sand rail) vehicle oriented camping. Sunset Bay State Park
Sunset Bay State Park offers extensive picnic and overnight camping. Located in one of the most scenic areas of the coast, this park features wide sandy beaches and ocean views. Tide pooling at low tide reveals the secrets of the Pacific Ocean.
Sunset Bay State Park is connected to the nearby Shore Acres and Cape Arago State Parks by a series of hiking trails. The trails travel along the pristine coastal forests and towering cliffs offering ocean views and sights of the Cape Arago Lighthouse.
The park offers 29 full hookup, 34 electrical, 66 tent (maximum site 47 feet); 8 yurts; group tent (2 areas), and a hiker/biker camp.

Bastendorff Beach
Bastendorff Beach is a county campground, day use area and beach. The park consists of 89 acres and is a beautiful place to camp. There are 91 campsites of which 56 are secluded RV sites with electrical and water hookups. There are an additional 35 sites for tent campers and additional sites for hikers and bicyclists. There are restrooms and coin-operated showers.

For day use, there are picnic areas and a fish cleaning stand. For group activities, there are two picnic shelters with kitchens and a fire pit - barbecue. Bastendorff Beach is located directly west of Charleston, just north of the Cape Arago Lighthouse. Also nearby is Shore Acres, Sunset Bay State Park, and Cape Arago State Park.

The Mill Casino Hotel
The Mill Casino is located in North Bend, just north of Coos Bay. There is a brand new, seven-story, 92-room hotel tower along the Coos Bay waterfront.
The Mill RV Park offers 102 level sites, including 65 slanted 68-foot pull-throughs, with full hookups and cable TV.
