Florence Keller Regional Park is a county park located in a second growth California Redwood Forest. The park offers 50 camping, hiking and RV spots and can accommodate vehicles up to 32 feet. Jedediah Smith Redwood State Park
Jedediah Smith State Park is stocked with towering old growth redwoods. These redwood groves are the most scenic in existence. The oldest are 2,000 years old and show no signs of dying out. Ruby Van Deventer Park
The Ruby Van Deventer Park is a county operated park located near the Jedediah Smith Redwood State Park. There are 18 campsites and a group picnic area. Reservations are not available for these sites.
The Smith River is about 50 yards away, offering swimming, kayaking, and seasonal trout and salmon fishing. Pets on leashes are allowed at the park.
This park is perfect for those cycling the coast who want to visit the California Redwoods at the nearby Jedediah Smith Redwood State Park which is sometimes fully booked in-season.
Access to the park if from Rt 197, which cuts from north of Crescent City and US Highway 101, over to Rt 199 and the Redwoods.
