RV's on the California Coast -
Crescent City - Del Norte
The most popular RV campgrounds along the coast are those located in the towering redwoods. Jedediah Smith State Park and Del Norte Coast Redwood Parks are the largest and most spectacular. But don't overlook the nearby Florence Keller Regional Park that offer excellent camping opportunities in second growth redwoods. There are also 6 private RV parks located nearby that offer full hookups and services that the parks do not offer.
Redwood National and State Parks Information Center
This information center is located a short distance west of US Route 101 and is full of information on the area attractions in the Redwood National Forests. The people working at this center are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They have maps and other hand outs plus first hand information about where to visit, depending on your interests.

Jedediah Smith Redwood State Park
Jedediah Smith State Park is stocked with towering old growth redwoods. These redwood groves are the most scenic in existence. The oldest are 2,000 years old and show no signs of dying out. Florence Keller Regional Park
Florence Keller Regional Park is a county park located in a second growth California Redwood Forest. The park offers 50 camping, hiking and RV spots and can accommodate vehicles up to 32 feet.
